Dandenong Ranges

I signed up for another BBC walk this time around the Dandenong Ranges. Now the Dandenong Ranges are very close to Melbourne ( less then 40 minutes travel time) but I been disappointed with the ‘Ranges on a previous walk as I found the Dandenong Ranges small, the scenery monotonous with plenty of housing scattered around the edges of the various “parks”. What I did not realise is around the other side of the ranges away from the houses, reservoirs etc, is a another, larger park with diverse and fascinating scenery. So after 24KM, I believe my boots have gained a greater respect for the Dandenong Ranges.
