Melbourne Cup

Went to Melbourne Cup, the race that stops Australia. Melbourne cup is a real experience, everyone dresses up and basically drinks Champagne all day (with the odd bit of chicken) and watches (bets) on the Horse races. Melbourne turned on a hot magical day with Makybe Diva riding to the third consecutive win (A feat only equaled by Phar Lap back in the 1930’s).

It was a bit hard to get closer to the track from where I was standing but you can see the race (horses) Here and Here
Unfortunately the presentation area was around the other side which was a tad difficult to get to…
