After a growing number of questions / requests on the Gallery Forums for Gallery2/WP embedding tips / tricks / issues we decided to throw up a forum (hosted @ http://wpg2.ozgreg.com/) to serve as a community for WP bloggers wanting to embed G2.
Well another two days later and I think I got Gallery 2 and WordPress to play nicely. Resolved the embedded issue, now just got a issue with headers and breadcrumbs.. (You really did not want to know that right) 
Well I am undertaking the technical Challenge of Integrating WordPress and Gallery2 together and so far they mix as well as Oil and Water…
So far I have adapted the Gallery/WP plug to work but the CSS issues plaguing the integration are more than slightly frustrating!
