Every Year, Melbourne plays host to the Tennis Australian Open. I always thought of going but never gotten around to getting getting my butt in gear and going. Lucky for me, Sharon loves to go, so this year I got my chance to go to my first “live” Grand Slam Tennis event and I was not disappointed, getting to watch two night games in the Rod Laver Arena.. Jelena Kostanic Tosic vs Samantha Stosurand (Sadly (Sam) the Australian Lost, and Philipp Kohlschreiber vs Rafael Nadal (With Rafeal eventually winning)

I always had plans to “improve” the back steps that lead down into the backyard, hopefully removing them with plans of building a deck that would extend to the side and back fence, with a stair leading down into the backyard. Completely by chance, I learnt of an excellent “chippy” who was immediately available who would be able to build a deck for me and jumped at the chance.
If course once I had the deck, you need a outdoor setting, and naturally the BBQ

I finally (so my friends tell me) popped the question to Sharon and we engaged up on Mooloolaba beach in Sunny Queensland on the 23rd of December, 2006
I love you Sharon, and cannot wait until we are married.
